The Advanced Placement (AP) Program at The High School for Enterprise, Business and Technology offers motivated students the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school. Through rigorous instruction, analytical thinking, and intensive skill-building, AP students are better prepared for college and career pathways.

Based on the Spring 2025 Master Schedule, EBT currently offers the following AP courses:

AP English Language & Composition (11th Grade) Focuses on nonfiction texts, rhetorical analysis, and argument writing
AP English Literature & Composition (12th Grade) Literary analysis of fiction, poetry, and drama (Check for future offering)
AP World History: Modern (10th Grade) Global themes and historical thinking from 1200 CE to present
AP U.S. History (11th Grade) American history from pre-colonial to modern times
AP African American Studies Interdisciplinary approach to Black history, literature, and culture
AP Environmental Science Examines ecological processes, human impact, and sustainability
AP Precalculus Prepares students for college-level math with functions, modeling, and analysis
AP Computer Science Principles Introduces computing, programming, and data-driven problem-solving

📝 Exam & Scoring Information

  • Exams are administered in May each year

  • Each exam is scored from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest)

  • A score of 3 or higher is considered passing and may qualify for college credit

  • Exams include multiple-choice and free-response sections

  • Some exams (e.g., AP CSP) include project submissions during the course

💲 Exam Fee: $98 per exam
