Please review these important letters and documents shared with you by our Principal.
Dear Class of 2013,
Congratulations on making it this far in your educational career! I hope being in your last semester of high school feels great, and feels like quite an accomplishment – which it is.
As your Senior Advisor, it is my duty to help plan and coordinate your end-of-high-school activities. With that in mind, it is time to begin collecting senior dues. Senior dues are collected each from the senior class in order to pay for the graduation ceremony, the yearbook, and other senior-specific activities (such as the senior breakfast and senior awards). The school is not allowed to pay for caps and gowns, diploma cases, decorations, awards, or gifts for the senior class. Therefore, these special events are the responsibility of the graduating seniors.
With all that in mind, the senior dues this year amount to $250 per student. You may pay your dues in one lump sum of $250, or in smaller installments (say $25 per week). I will issue a receipt for any money you submit and track progress toward your total payment. Payment by money order is the best method to pay your dues. They may be made out to: “High School for Enterprise, Business & Technology.” Please pay your dues by May 1. Students will be responsible for any fees associated with "bounced" checks.
I will collect senior dues during third period in room 406, and in room 426 during seventh period most days. There may be days or periods when I am called to perform other duties around the school.
Paying your senior dues entitles you to your cap and gown for graduation, a Class of 2013 t-shirt, a 2013 yearbook, the senior breakfast and other memorabilia. Senior dues do not count toward the senior prom or the senior trip, as those are separate accounts.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
Coordinator of Student Activities
EBT will be hosting Open House for the parents and students of potential incoming freshman on Wednesday 11/16/11 and Tuesday 11/22/11 from 5:30-7:00pm. We look forward to seeing you at this event.
