College Now Applications for Spring are now available!

Attention All Students! College Now Applications are now available for students in grades 9-12 in the College Office. Deadline is January 17, 2014Application to this program is extremely competitive so please get your application in as soon as possible. Seat availability will be first come first serve for qualified students. Try to get your application into the College Office before Christmas Break!

Attention Rising Juniors! Do you want a chance to get three, FREE College Credits from a CUNY school? Free Credits that will transfer to your intended college upon graduation from high school? Do you want to get a taste of college life while still in high school?

Then become a participant of our College Now Program which is affiliated with NYC College of Technology. Classes are held on Saturdays. For credit bearing courses, students must currently be in the 11th grade and have a transcript average of 80 average or higher and a 75 or higher on their English Regents. *There is also an SAT Prep Academy Course being offered for juniors as well (applications must be received by the College Now office before January 3, 2014). This is a great way to start preparing for your May SAT exam.

For admission to the 4 credit Math courses, juniors must have a transcript average of 80 or higher and you must have passed two Math Regents, scoring at least an 80 or higher on one of those Regents. You must also have passed Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II/Trigonometry or scored a 500+ on the math portion of the SAT or 21+ on ACT math.

Bridge the Gap or workshops classes for 9th and 10th grade students are also available. A transcript average of 80 or higher is required. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be given priority to apply for credit bearing courses and can get high school elective credit.

Download the attached applications (for your grade level) and once competed, please return it to the College Office immediately for review.
